Once a year, Land of Medicine Buddha Retreat Center holds a grand day of celebration when the community comes together at their Wish Fulfilling Temple. They raise a 24 foot tall Medicine Buddha thangka (painting) between redwood trees, host Buddhist masters who lead the Medicine Buddha Pujas (prayers), offer a free lunch of Tibetan mo mo’s, music and dance offerings from many cultures, kids activities and more. It is a GRAND day day of celebration and offering.
