This Wednesday, February 10, at 5:00PM PST, we will hold the  Vajrakilaya Practice on Facebook Live. Before Losar, the Tibetan New Year on February 12, all monasteries hold wrathful deities practices, such as Mahakala, Vajrakilaya, etc. These rituals, or GUTOR, are six days of extensive practices performed towards the end of the Tibetan year. Gutor is a purification and vast offerings to the protectors to clear away obstacles in the year to come.
Actually, Vajrakilaya is Rinpoche’s special yidam; the wrathful heruka Vajrakilaya is the yidam deity who embodies the enlightened activity of all the buddhas and whose practice is famous for being the most powerful for removing obstacles, destroying the forces hostile to compassion and purifying the spiritual pollution so prevalent in this age.
Please do join us in this practice to prepare for the New Year!
