SUMMARY:Monday Night Chanted Prayers Online-Amitabha Practice
DESCRIPTION:Monday\, May 31st at 6:30 PM PST on ZOOM\, we will hold a very special Amitabha Puja where we will be joined by the accomplished pianist and my longtime friend Michael Martinez of Pacific Grove California. Michael will play his piano along with the chanting of the Amitabha Buddha Mantra\, “OM AMI DEWA HRIH”. This will be a shortened version of our usual practice of “The Recitation for Accomplishment of Sukhavati from the Sky Dharma Mind Terma”. This Amitabha Puja has been a part of my practice for quite a long time because this was also a part of my Root Guru\, Sangye Tenzin Rinpoche’s practice.  Amitabha is the Buddha in the Western Pureland of Bliss\, known as Sukhavati or Dewachen in Tibetan.
