SUMMARY:New Year's Eve Vajrasattva Purification Practice
DESCRIPTION:Come and start the New Year with a clean slate by confessing and purifying any negative karma accumulated through transgressions of body\, speech and mind over the past year through the powerful Vajrasattva (Dorje Sempa) practice. This event will be held in-person at the Manjushri Dharma Center on Sunday\, December 31 (12/31/23) from 6:30PM to 8:30PM. \nThis special event will consist of teachings by Khenpo Karten Rinpoche on the Vajrasattva practice\, an explanation of the meaning of the mantra and on the four opponent powers (tob shi) that we perform to purify our negative thoughts\, speech and actions. After a short break\, we will then accumulate recitations of the Vajrasattva Mantra. After the Puja\, if you would like to stay and celebrate\, the MDC will be welcoming in the New Year with tea and treats.
