DESCRIPTION:We’re pleased to announce that MDC is hosting a daylong retreat involving meditation and teachings by Khenpo Karten Rinpoche on Saturday\, November 16\, 2019 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Rinpoche will give teachings on the classic Dharma instruction known as “Parting from the Four Attachments”\, by Drakpa Gyaltsen\, a great 12th Century Sakya yogi. It offers a concise description on how to deepen our spiritual practices and how to transform our body\, speech and mind into a vehicle for liberation. It is considered one of the jewels of writing in Tibetan Buddhism. \nTranslation will be provided by Rinpoche’s interpreter\, Jampa Tharchin (David Molk). \nPlease bring your own lunch. Tea and healthy snacks will be provided in the afternoon. \nA suggested donation of $35 is requested.
