Friday, December 10th is the 49th day of the dear sponsor of the Manjushri Dharma Center.  This sponsor, who had always wished to remain anonymous, funded the purchase of the building that has become the home of Khenpo Karten Rinpoche and the Manjushri Dharma Center.   Every year, she consistently gave generously to fund Rinpoche’s travel and most recently, helped to fund the new roof for the center.

Rinpoche invites all who are in the Monterey area to come and celebrate and remember this special person with prayers including a short Amitabha practice.   Attendees are encouraged to bring flowers and to wear white clothing.   Michael Martinez will be providing beautiful music, and if all goes well, will also stream the event on Facebook Live (or will post video after the event).

The ceremony will take place outside, in the backyard of the Dharma Center.   Masks are encouraged, and social distancing will be maintained.
