Unloading Yurt Day!
Manjushri Dharma Center

The 30′ yurt, generously donated to Rinpoche and the Manjushri Dharma Center by Thay Kozen of the Mount Adams Buddhist Temple will be arriving to MDC late Thursday night by UHaul, November 7th.  (Thank you Tony for driving the 20′ rig!)  We anticipate an “unloading party” on Friday, November 8, between 12pm and 1pm.   We’d love some help that day!   More importantly, whether in person or remote–send good wishes for Rinpoche’s dream of a backyard Dharma Center! 

The yurt will be stored in rodent-proof/weather-proof crates (thank you Miles for designing those!) while we navigate the complexities of getting our project approved by the City of Pacific Grove.  With the yurt as our backyard Dharma Center, we would double the size of our meditation space.   More peace for more people!

Amazing!  Such a sweet, hard-working group of volunteers last Saturday (Oct. 19, 2024 11-1pm with bonus round 1-2pm)!  We accomplished SO MUCH!  We pulled weeds, cleaned up the patio, and moved a mountain of mulch
