Saturday, July 6, 2024 is His Holiness Dalai Lama’s 89th birthday!   We celebrated after meditation with a “lucky pot” (pot luck) in the backyard at the Manjushri Dharma Center.   Rinpoche set up a birthday shrine for His Holiness and led prayers for his long life.   Michael Martinez lent his talent and good energy with the piano!  The sangha enjoyed each other’s company, celebrated and prayed for the health and well-being of this great master of peace, His Holiness the Dalai Lama.  Happy Birthday HHDL!   Photos from the day are below, courtesy of Miles McBreen.
