The MDC will celebrate the momentous occasion of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday in the MDC backyard! The event will take place after meditation on Saturday, July 5th, at 11:00AM. (Actually, His Holiness’s birthday is July 6th but we will celebrate a day early when we are all together).  This is a luckypot (potluck) so bring whatever food you like!  The spiritual leader, father, and protector of the Tibetan people, manifestation of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion; please do join us to celebrate the life of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso La, a Buddha appearing in human form.
