Join us for this special Monday evening when Rinpoche leads us in the chanted prayers of Medicine Buddha (Buddha of Infinite Healing). Medicine Buddha offers physical and mental healing, protection from dangers and obstacles, and helps living beings to eradicate the three poisons – attachment, hatred, and ignorance – which are the source of all sickness and danger. He is a Buddha Doctor, depicted as having a dark blue (lapis lazuli) colored body, this being an archetypal color of healing.  With his left hand he holds a bowl of healing nectars, and with his right, a medicine plant. Beginners to advanced practitioners are welcome, prayer books are provided. Free of charge, but donations are welcome.
