Don’t cause yourself regret
39 མང་པོའི་དཀྱིལ་ནས་གྲོགས་ཀྱིས་མ་ཁྲེལ་བ་དང་། གཅིག་པུར་འདུག་དུས་ལྷ་ཡིས་མ་ཁྲེལ་བ་ཞིག་བྱེད་དགོས། བྱ་བ་གང་ཡིན་ཀྱང་འགྱོད་པ་མེད་པར་གྱིས། When among many don’t act shamefully before your friends. When alone don’t act shamefully before the Deity. Whatever the activity, don’t cause yourself regret.

38 གྲ་སྒྲིག་དེ་སྡུག་ས་ནས་དང། རེ་བ་དེ་བཟང་ས་ལ་གྱིས། བརྩོན་འགྲུས་ཐང་ལྷོད་མེད་པར་བྱས་ནས་འབྲས་བུ་མི་ཐོན་པ་མི་སྲིད། ཤེས་སོང་བས། Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. If you persevere consistently it is impossible that results won’t emerge. Understand?
Sometimes it is best to remain quiet
37 མི་ཉན་པ་ལ་བསླབ་བྱ་བྱས་ན་སོ་སོའི་སེམས་པ་ན་རོགས་རེད། དེ་བས་རང་གར་བསྡད་ན་བཟང་། ཚང་མའི་ཁུར་མ་ལེན། If you advise someone who won’t listen, your intentions were useless. Better than that is to remain quiet. You can’t take responsibility for everyone.

Don’t interfere with others; accomplish your goals!
36 རང་གིས་གང་བྱེད་དགོས་པ་དེ་འཐུས་ཤོར་མེད་པར་བྱོས། གཞན་གྱི་ཇུས་ཏོག་མ་བྱེད། མི་ཚང་མ་ཁྱེད་རང་ནང་བཞིན་གཅིག་པ་ཡོང་མི་ཐུབ། Accomplish what you wish without procrastination, but don’t meddle in the business of others. Not everyone can be just like you!
Restrain one’s speech
35 བཤད་ཚད་རུ་བདེན་པར་མ་འཛིན། རང་ཚུགས་ཐུབ་པོའི་ངང་ནས་ཀུན་ལ་ཡ་རབ་བྱོས། དྲན་ཚད་ཁ་ནས་མ་འདོན། ཆགས་སྒོ་ཁ་ཡིས་ཉོ་ཡོང་། Don’t believe everything you hear. You should be self sufficient and respect everyone. Don’t say everything you think. You’ll be buying misfortune with your mouth.
