1/12, marked the conclusion of Manjushri Dharma Center’s “Happy” New Year 2025 retreat, which was a Green Tara Empowerment & Phowa Teaching and Transmission. This is the second time Rinpoche has given a Phowa transmission and the first Green Tara ‘Jenang’ empowerment in the West. The event took place over the weekend at Wave Street Studios in Monterey. Many local and outside Sangha, including a few Tibetans from Portland and others from Chicago, attended the retreat. It was a momentous and profound retreat, and Rinpoche has received many calls and text messages from attendees who said that the retreat was wonderful and that they are very happy.
