On Thursday, October 19th, Khenpo Karten Rinpoche will go to San Jose for his U.S. Citizenship interview and test.   It is a day he has been working towards for more than 8 years.  In a recent facebook post, Rinpoche says, “I am very happy to say I so close now to becoming American citizen.  The test is in October.  This makes me happy and proud.  I feel that I have a responsibility and duties as a new citizen to bring my knowledge and my heart as a Tibetan Buddhist to my home and community.”   Please pray for Rinpoche to support his efforts to become a US citizen!
