Today marks the 61st anniversary of Tibet’s horrific occupation by the Chinese communists in 1959. More than half a million Tibetans were killed in this genocide and over 6000 monasteries were completely destroyed. My mother and uncle were also killed when I was only 3 months old.

Heartfelt thanks to those MDC Sanga who attended today’s Uprising Day to fly the Tibetan flag. The weather is not really fantastic today but still everyone eagerly participated and stood up for human rights. I am really happy with all your support for the justice system of Tibet. Not only for Tibet but all human rights.
Free Tibet! བོད་རྒྱལ་ལོ།
May all cultures live together in peace and harmony. Thank you once again and tashi delek.
