This past Sunday and Wednesday at the Center for Spiritual Awakening were wonderful; last Sunday, Rinpoche gave a teaching on ‘Contentment, the Supreme of Wealth‘ with the help of expert translator Jampa Tharchin (David Molk) and musician Michael Martinez. On Wednesday, Dr. Ginger Chih spoke about her new book, ‘Spiritual Journeys: Stories and Pictures of the Dalai Lama and Tibetans in Exile’, and shared photos and stories of His Holiness and the Tibetan people in exile. Khenpo Karten Rinpoche also spoke briefly about his early life and experiences meeting His Holiness the Dalai Lama after fleeing Tibet.
