དོན་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ལོ་གསར་ཇི་ལྟར་བྱེད་དགོས་མིན།
What Makes a Meaningful New Year
༅༅།། ཕན་བདེའི་དགེ་ལེགས་འོད་སྟོང་རབ་འབར་བའི།། འགྲོ་བའི་མི་ཤེས་རབ་རིབ་འཇོམས་མཛད་པ།།
སྨྲ་བའི་སེངྒེ་རྗེ་བཙུན་འཇམ་དཔལ་དབྱངས།། འགྲོ་རྣམས་ལོ་ཟླ་སྐྱིད་ཀྱིས་འཚོ་བར་ཤོག།
You who blaze with light of well-being and goodness,
Clearing cataracts of confusion from the eyes of beings,
O Lion of Teachers, Venerable Manjushri,
May living beings live happily in the New Year!
རིན་ཆེན་ནོར་གྱིས་དོ་ཟླ་མ་ཡིན་ཅིང་།། དུས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་རིན་ཐང་ཅན་གྱི་ལོ།།
ཞག་དང་ཟླ་བས་རིམ་གྱིས་རྫོགས་པ་འདིར།། མི་ཡིས་དགའ་སྟོན་བྱས་པ་ལེགས་སམ་ཅི།།
Unrivaled by precious jewels, this thing we call ‘time’ is so valuable!
As this year, by days and months, comes to an end,
People make a celebration of it:
I wonder if that is good or not?
འོན་ཀྱང་སྐྱིད་པའི་ལོ་གསར་བསུ་འདོད་ཅིང་།། དོན་དང་ལྡན་པའི་མི་ཚེ་སྐྱེལ་འདོད་རྣམས།།
རང་སེམས་གཙང་མས་ཕ་མ་ནང་མི་ལ།། བྱམས་པའི་ལོ་གསར་བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས་ཡིན།།
Still, you who wish to welcome a new year of happiness,
Who wish to bring great meaning to human life,
With pure intentions, bid your parents and family,
Tashi Delek and a Happy New Year of Love!
