The third annual Amitabha Dechen Shingdrup (chanted prayer practice of Amitabha, Buddha of Infinite Light) was held over the weekend of September 25 to 27, 2026 at the Sera Jey Foundation in El Cerrito, CA. This special event was hosted by the Tibetan Association of Northern California. Everyday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Tibetans (and a few westerners) gathered to enjoy the extensive practice of Amitabha, with commentary from Khenpo Karten Rinpoche. The spiritual energy in the room was so nourishing, as was the big Tibetan breakfast and lunch served each day! We are so fortunate to have these practices in Northern California!
