I would like to say a little bit about my visit today (Tuesday, May 6, 2025) by the York School from here in Monterey. This was their second visit to the Manjushri Dharma Center, having come for the first time last year. I gave a little teaching and spoke a bit about my background, Buddhism, etc. They had many questions and were very happy with the visit. I feel that it is a great idea and very beneficial for them to come, and I am very happy to meet with these young students. I sincerely wish all youth around the world follow suit. Perhaps, most importantly, teachers in schools can begin to teach things like meditation, compassion, altruism, etc. This is of utmost importance because you can see the state of the world today. In the future, we have only one hope, which is the younger generation; the future is in their hands right now.
