Lungta (Tibetan: རླུང་རྟ་, meaning “Wind Horse”) is an important symbol in Tibetan culture and Buddhism. It represents good fortune, positive energy, and the upliftment of one’s spiritual and worldly well-being. The Wind Horse is often depicted carrying the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel, symbolizing prosperity, wisdom, and compassion.
The image of Lungta is commonly printed on Tibetan prayer flags, surrounded by sacred mantras and the four dignities—the Garuda, Dragon, Tiger, and Snow Lion—which represent strength, wisdom, confidence, and fearlessness. When the wind blows, it is believed to carry prayers and blessings throughout the world, promoting peace, harmony, and good fortune for all beings.#windhorse#tibetanprayerflags#peace✌️love❤️ #buddhism#
