Rinpoche arrives to Taiwan, with translator (name unknown) and the nun who leads the Taiwan sangha.

Over the weekend of Friday to Sunday,  March 14-16, 2025, Rinpoche led an Amitabha Pureland Retreat with our Dharma brothers and sisters in Taiwan at the Taichung City Deguang Cultural and Educational Foundation .  For many of us on the west coast that meant Thursday to Saturday, March 13-15, with sessions from 5:30pm to 2:30am.  The sessions were in Tibetan with translation into Chinese, and the energy was so good.  Thursday evening in particular, with the full moon, the Chötrul Düchen great occasion (Celebration of Miracles) and Lunar Eclipse was powerful.   In Taiwan on that day, they started the retreat by releasing fish, frogs and snakes from the local market back to the rivers and woodlands where their lives could be spared.   The first two sessions were not available by Zoom for that reason, but by the third session, all could join in.  We celebrate our Taiwan Dharma family, and the amazing ability to join via Zoom sessions half-way across the world.
