Yesterday, Saturday July 5 2025, we celebrated the momentous occasion of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th birthday in the MDC backyard. It was a beautiful occasion with prayers, music, and a khata offering along with food and drink. Many of the MDC Sangha attended after meditation. Everyone was very happy. Thank you so much to all of those in attendance and those who helped make the event possible. Thanks to the MDC President Rachel who worked so hard, Karma Palden (Miles) who also took photos, and my longtime friend Michael Martinez for the wonderful music played on the piano.
