Friday, June 20th, 2025, we held the 31st Water Blessing on the summer solstice at Lover’s Point beach. Many people attended and it was a very beautiful ceremony. We chanted the prayers for propitiating the deities for the well-being of the environment, and also we recited the prayer for world peace. Afterwards, we made an offering to the local nagas and participants scattered flower petals in the ocean. I am always happy to do this as I feel a responsibility and will continue as long as I can.
